great proximity to parks and local landmarks for weekend walkers
I loved that the hotel was just a 10-minute walk from both the Douglas Railroad Interpretive Center and the Pioneer Memorial Museum, making it super easy to enjoy the area's unique history. The clerk at check-in was incredibly friendly and ensured I had everything I needed to start my weekend explorations.

Consider requesting a recently remodeled room for a more comfortable stay, as some rooms may show signs of age.

missingWrote a review on 02 Decfriendly staffdirty bathroomoutdated carpet
Check-in staff was friendly and helpful.
This hotel is in dire need of maintenance. The cleanliness was subpar. there was hair on the bathroom floor and a distinctly musty smell in the air. Even though I paid for an upgraded room, I found it outdated and poorly maintained, with stained carpets and a refrigerator that smelled awful. To top it off, breakfast choices were extremely limited, making the overall experience disappointing.

Nice place with its free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and clean non-smoking rooms. The staff once helped me find my lost car keys, which was nice. I always enjoy my stays here and I'm coming back for a business trip.

This was just a suitable option for a brief hiatus in Douglas with real value for money. The coffee could use some freshness, but I appreciated having enough towels provided. If you need breakfast, try to get down early because it might not be ready on time.

missingWrote a review on 01 Junfriendly staffspacious roomcold biscuitsunreliable wi-filimited breakfast options
The friendly staff made a lasting impression, particularly the woman at the front desk who ensured we had our reserved room. The recently remodeled two queen beds room was spacious and very clean, providing a comfortable space for our short stay. On the downside, the breakfast options were limited with cold biscuits being served, and the wi-fi was unreliable in the room. The location is convenient, just off the interstate, making it a practical stopover.
